We are changing it up this month due to the nature of the Virgo full moon energy… Wear comfortable clothing\, bring a blanket\, yoga mat or pillow to sit on. Chairs if you need them are available. We will provide the tea\, educational\, energy forecast and tarot reading. DESCRIPTION:Gather with us to celebrate the ascension of the Full Moon at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting Hall located just outside of Marquette. \nRitual will promptly start at 5:30 \nJanuary’s full Wolf moon is in Cancer. Your feeling of safety is now related to your home\, family and related activities such as cooking and gardening. You may be prone to emotional fluctuations; you should learn to forgive and forget in order to avoid depression from thinking too much about things. Your perception of the world can be very subjective; try to create a certain distance without being bitter. Due to your rich emotional manifestation you can create a real sense of belonging in the world. \nThe full Moon names come from Native American groups\, Colonial Americans\, or other traditional North American names passed down through generations. \nThe full Moon for January was called the Full Wolf Moon because wolves were more often heard at this time. It was traditionally thought that they howled due to hunger\, but there is no evidence for this. However\, wolves do tend to howl more often during winter months\, and generally howl to define territory\, locate pack members\, and gather for hunting. \nOther traditional names for the January Moon include: the Cold Moon\, the Old Moon\, and the Great Spirit Moon. \nPlease reach out to an admin if you need a ride or would like to carpool. \nA community donation from each member is requested but not required.
