DESCRIPTION:Book Discussion Group\n\nA UU book discussion group via Zoom is starting up\, called “UU Yoopers Read Together.” If you are interested in being a part of the group\, please take the following poll so we can collectively choose our first book. Note that all three books are available via Kindle\, audiobook\, and in print forms\, but don’t forget about your local booksellers\, too\, as you may still be able to support them in some way. The poll will be open until Saturday\, April 4th\, at midnight\, find the link HERE\n\nEmail Jamie at jkuehnl@nmu.edu stating your interest to be included in upcoming discussions. My first email to you will be on Sunday\, April 5th\, to share which book we’ve chosen to discuss first. Then\, we’ll meet each Tuesday\, at 7 pm at this ZOOM LINK \nSchedule:\nTuesday\, April 7………7 pm   Meet and Greet\, sharing of favorite books/authors\, a brief intro to our 1st author\nTuesday\, April 14……7 pm   Discuss the first ½ of our 1st chosen book\nTuesday\, April 21……7 pm   Discuss the second ½ of our 1st chosen book\nTuesday\, April 28……7 pm   Discussion of next possible text & discussion leader/s \nDo feel free to share this with other UU friends and family of the UP. DESCRIPTION:Saturday’s full moon ritual with UPWPC will be changed to a healing drumming circle. We are changing it up this month due to the nature of the Virgo full moon energy… Wear comfortable clothing\, bring a blanket\, yoga mat or pillow to sit on. Chairs if you need them are available. We will provide the tea\, educational\, energy forecast and tarot reading. Please make sure to RSVP if you’re coming\nI will be bringing three drums and a tambourine and two different kinds of rattles. I know there’s a rain maker and at least one drum at the meeting house. If you have a drum or a rattle please bring it. \nSaturday\, March 7th 5:00 p.m. at the meeting house! \nAll are welcome Ritual starts at 5:30 promptly \nPlease reach out to an admin if you need a ride or would like to carpool. \nA community donation from each member is requested but not required. Please give what you can\, but please don’t feel obligated to do so or do not attend if you can’t make a donation due to your financial situation. We would rather have you there then not at all. Donations will cover cost of consumables at each event such as candles\, offerings\, etc. Any extra moneys will go to a donation to the UU for use of their facilities and in the long term towards the UP Witches Ball.
