Ze Chatter Box

After talking with several members of the congregation, it has come to my attention that the formality of the General Discussion forum and its topics inhibits the discourse of random unimportant chat, which is integral to the health of any forum with a sense of community. Thus, I have created the Chatter Box, a place to chat about anything you've been thinking (or not thinking) about.

You already know that as a scion of the MUUC, a part of the UUA, we covenant to affirm and promote:

The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
A right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

Just bear this in mind when you post.

Also be aware that if we moderators feel your post is specific to the congregation and belong in the other forum, we may move it there.

There is a certain red squirrel who loves to perch just outside the bay window-- in front of my computer and also in front of The Dog who is programmed to be interested in rodents-- and he chatters away, knowing he is enticing said dog (who can't do a thing about the chattering squirrel because of the glass between them)... anyway.... I love viewing the web of life here in the woods, and don't mind chattering squirrels, and like chattering about them.

Y'know the old site of the Coffee Cup in Marquette? Somebody should put a Chatterbox Cafe in there!
